Producing a batch — mixing compound, running the extruder, vulcanising, cutting, packing and dispatching — has a fixed cost regardless of whether the order is 5 kg or 500 kg. The MOQ ensures the economics work for both sides. At Kaniskaa Rubber Industries, the standard MOQ is 50 kg per size.
